The Canadian Women Voters Congress (Ontario) and CriticalMassWomen

– both York Region-based and led by Nancy Coldham.

The Canadian Women Voters Congress is a non-partisan, grassroots charitable organization, dedicated to encouraging all Canadian women to become strong, effective voices at all levels of government.

The Congress is run by a volunteer Board of Directors. Directors have varying political beliefs, but one thing in common . . . the desire to see more women involved in the political process and to see more women in elected positions within our governments.

Nancy Coldham is on the Board of Directors tasked with establishing an Ontario arm of the CWVC which is now Vancouver-based.

Nancy is a York-Region-based entrepreneur with her own public affairs consulting firm.  She started the CrticialMassWomen enterprise to reach out to support and advance women entrepreneurs in war-torn countries as well as women here in Canada.

Nancy is also a long-time supporter of promoting women as political candidates municipally, provincially and federally.

You may have seen Nancy when she was Host of the Rogers York Region TV show called FOCAL POINT.  Nancy’s own business is The CG Group. This IWD event is a not-for-profit effort to bring York Region women together to celebrate International Women’s Day. Women involved in other organizations can contact us to have a table at the event to promote their cause if it is not-for-profit and focused on improving the lives of and advancing the opportunities for women and girls.
